An established investment management executive, Scott Bushley builds on more than two decades of experience as a partner with Granite Point Capital (GPC). In this leadership role, he oversees all finance and business operations for a Boston-based hedge fund, including matters related to information technology, office infrastructure, and human resources. Scott Bushley also spearheads asset pricing, reviews administrator and investor statements, and manages fund services for GPC.
Prior to his time at GPC, Bushley spent more than a decade with BNY Mellon Investment Management in Boston. He signed on as the vice president of strategic business development and held various roles in operations and distribution before he ultimately led as the head of business operations. In this latter position, he managed all aspects of business operations for a global investment-management firm that generated over $3.6 billion in revenue annually.
In addition to his work with BNY Mellon Investment Management, Scott Bushley draws on a professional background that includes positions with Atlantic Trust, Sunflower Capital Partners, and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. An alumnus of Vanderbilt University with a bachelor of arts in psychology, Bushley received his master of administration in finance from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.
